There is creative reading, as well as creative writing.

Festival Welcome

The 2010 Man Hong Kong International Literary Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary this year with some of the book world’s biggest names. From Thursday, 11 March to Friday, 19 March 2010, the Literary Festival presented important and influential authors side by side with distinctive new writers; provided regional and local talents with access to an internationally recognized platform from which to introduce their work; and fostered an awareness of the variety and richness of writing from and about Asia.

From panel discussions to literary lunches, university lectures to the Financial Times debate, the 2010 Festival was and will continue to be an intellectual forum as well as an artistic platform. A total of more than 60 events were held; 40 international authors arrived and were joined by 32 local authors, poets and moderators.
